The tech department is working diligently on getting Office 2007 for all the elementary schools. Hopefully, it will be installed soon.

I think making our schools wireless, is important.
Almost all of the new computers today are coming with wireless cards.
Schools could have moble labs, were students could work throughout the school without having to go to a stand alone computer lab. Also with a wireless building teachers could move their computers and organize their rooms without having to have a long network cord running through their rooms.

I, like Kelly, would love have a document camera in my classroom. The possibilities are endless no matter what grade you teach. It could enhance just about anything being taught. I know without a doubt it would be a very effective tool.

Hi Kelly!

Thank you for your input. It is important that we get this feedback so that we will know (and can tell others) what teachers want in their rooms.

I know it is a hassle to have to set up the equipment every time you use it but the more we use it, the more likely we will be able to purchase another.

I would love to have a document camera and an LCD projector in my room. There are so many programs that I would love to be able to teach my students that would allow them more access to the curriculum but I can never use them because I don’t have the technology available. Or, it takes forever to find what I need, and set it up each time because we have to share the one document camera that we have for the entire school. I would also like a scanner.
